The Eagle River Park Coalition was formed by a group of dedicated river users who met and built friendships and community bonds while surfing at the Eagle River Park. Since opening day, the river park has been a fantastic community gathering spot with in-river features serving as a focal point for high performance surfing during runoff and lazing swimming and tubing during the hot late months of summer.

Having witnessed what is possible with the opening of Salida’s new Scout Wave 2.0, we’ve come to see that there’s so much more potential in the Eagle River for a longer season, safer features, and community growth.

For this reason, we formed the Eagle River Park Coalition to steward a new vision of the river park for Eagle Colorado.

The Eagle River Park Coalition directors are Lachie Thomson, President, and (fill this in when the rest has been decided).

We are a public group open to new members and are overseen by a board of directors comprising (tbd).
